Does anyone have suggested spacing guidelines for Molex PicoBlade connectors oriented in a row so that the cables run over each other?

Obviously the three shown here are too close.

But how far apart is far enough?

As a lower bound: according to the datasheet drawing a mated connector pair is 6.2 mm from the face of the plastic part on the cable to the tip of the solder pin on the board side connector.

The wire is 0.82mm OD, so if we use say an 8x bend radius that's a 6.56mm radius.

We also need enough space to mate/unmate the connector, not just have the mated connector present. So add the 3.95mm length of the cable-side connector.

That comes out to 10.97 mm, so I'm thinking 15 mm pitch should be comfortable-ish for close packing?

This is 15mm, it looks doable?

@azonenberg I know nothing. But that looks perfect. My personal thinking is 2x the length of the connector distance between them. 2.5x would be better. So 15mm sounds spot on.
