@peterrenshaw they are called unicorns because they are extremely rare. Venture capital is not like getting a loan from a bank, it’s unsecured, high risk. So it’s the domain of those who can afford to loose, ie the already wealthy. That might be why Sydney is doing it better than Melbourne. No doubt it’s good news for Australian software developers.
@spmatich I’m thinking the only reason it’s Sydney is due to the plumbing of the #Internet landing there first. Finance isn’t any better/worse than Syd.
