Undo-tree 0.8 is out \o/ This makes me strangely happy.
Usually I make no mistakes, but if I did, then *this* is what I would use.
Emacs (and vim) have great undo / redo, something surprisingly absent in many "modern" editors.

It is a regular configure; make; install, emacs tree, but it has a PKGBUILD, so it's even easier for Arch.
It's a pure GTK build, so it works (beautifully) on #wayland, but also on X11 it looks better, and is faster (i think, didn't measure it).
