Hello all. New to the industry. I don't think this is exactly the place I'm looking for. Is anyone here in the cryptography field?

Just used systemd to schedule a a very simple daily task for the first time.

@Solus doesn't think crontabs are justified in this day and age anymore.

I have to say - I don't agree - One of the reasons why people use is that it is freakin wasy to automate the little annoyances of the day and crontab actually makes that super easy.

If anyone knows about a simple wrapper for systemd that simplifies scheduling a task, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Many years ago I stumbled across this amazing science fiction story while configuring a tor node: tor.com/2008/08/06/weak-and-st
Now Doctorow is back with non-fiction, trying to understand the reason behind a growing belief in conspiracy theories in "[...] a golden age of [...] readily available facts [...]":

user switching distro?

You can find the database file here: ~/.local/share/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml

Just copy it over to the new home directory, if you'd like to take your podcasts and webradios. (This won' t copy your media files though!)

It's finally here, teasing is over:

I'm excited to launch #keyoxide today!

I've been in favor of #DeleteKeybase but I never had something to offer as an alternative. Now I do :)

asking if anybody has a spare laptop because mine's fucked, boosts needed :boost_ok:

hey uh

my laptop's like hella fucked

does anybody have a spare like thinkpad or something they don't want

the SSD slot SATA connector is fucked, the keyboard is fucked, the mousepad is fucked... probably more things are fucked, it's like every time we try to fix it there's another problem

i'd like to be able to take the RAM out of my fucked laptop and still use it, so DDR 3 would be preferred

i can't do video editing commissions, or much of anything at all really, til this is fixed!

thank you!!!!!!!!

boosts appreciated immensely :boost_ok:
