I recently saw a video where someone was making DIY PCBs with what's essentially a miniature cnc shaper, using a lathe bit as the cutter. I can't find it now. Anyone know where I can find the video, or did I dream it up? #pcb #maker #cnc #electronics

Haven't see the YT, but I had a buddy do that, years ago.
It suuuucked, the bit used to tear the copper from the board quite often, no matter how sharp. He loved watching it, though.
Etching is slow and un-photogenic, but reliable and gives much better detail.
