Vandaag in Stade aangekomen voor onze groepsexcursie met vrienden, dit weekend. Vanuit de jeugdherberg zijn we in een wip in de oude binnenstad, en kom je onderweg leuke dingen tegen, zoals prachtige vensters, wandelpaadjes over de vestingwal en een middeleeuwse lastkraan midden in het centrum.
Maandag staat een stadswandeling op het programma!

Bovenlicht van de deur van het zogenaamde "Knechthausen" van origine een middeleeuwse herberg. Achter het glas in lood brwnd licht en erop geschilderd is een mannetje, de naam en het jaartal 1604.

Twee ramen en een deur/luik op de 1e verdieping van een vakwerkhuis, met een hoop beschilderd hout (een soort zonnen in rood geel en blauw) van het vakwerk en bakstenen in diverse patronen daartussenin.

Wandelpad op de wal van het bastion van de vesting met links een hoop groen en rechts het water van de gracht om de vesting.

De Middeleeuwse lastkraan (uit ca 1970 haha!) aan een gracht in het centrum van Stade.

Decent #urbex photo opportunities around when I still lived there - or 'urbex-looking' as it honestly wasn't much exploring, it's just how some of that area looked, all out in the open

Late evening scene, it's rather dark, except for some late-dusk dark blue-grey sky that still lends some visibility to the upper area of the picture. The left 3/4ths of the portrait-oriented picture are filled with an old industrial brick building, graffitied, entry gate down. All windows are dark except for the one most in the foreground, which is covered by shutters that are illuminated by a green-ish light (or it is the colour of the shutters?). The lower part of the building is dimly lit by artificial light from the street, which must be to the right of the picture. In front of the building, there is a sidewalk and a tree frames the image on the right edge.

It's nice and warm, the blackbirds are singing, there's a light breeze carrying the smell of jasmine blooms and a lovely bright moon in the sky. It's the little things (it has to be the big things are... Anyway!). Hope you're all having a good day/evening wherever you are!
