As I rolled up my window, without unlocking eyes from his hand, as he shambled away, I drive away slowly at first, then accelerated (as fast as an old Jeep would, natch).

There is not a single professional in the whole #CBP. They are all unkempt, unqualified, unvetted, racist, ARMED thugs. Their agency is barely Legal, even.

Treat as such, be be savvy, be safe.

For a moment, things were tense.

No way in hell I was gonna give him my Federal ID, OR step out of the vehicle.

After a brief stare down and some silence, my hand stealthily set on the door handle, to open and slam him down (he was already swaying), if he even twitched towards his gun, he blinked, burped and waved me away.

AFTER I showed my federal-issued, Uniformed Armed Services Identity card, aka "CAC", which clearly identified me as Army, officer, he made some weird frowns with his inbred face. Alluded to me stepping out of the vehicle.

I laughed, eyes still locked on his right hand, which was hovering but not ON his 9mm. Pointed out the details on the CAC, which I was NOT giving to him, but showing, holding on firmly. I trust #CBP agents like I trust an unlabeled blood sample with a needle.

He spoke to me, and the car was invaded by a mix of bad breath and cheap booze.

My eyes were locked onto his right hand.

He asked whether I was a US citizen. I produced my military ID, indicating I was an officer in the US Army.

Now, you CAN be a soldier on a "green card" (resident). But officers need security clearances, which means CITIZENSHIP.

In my case, because of what I did and do, I have a rather high clearance. Higher than ANYONE at whole of #CBP

I came across a #CBP checkpoint, even though the actual border was over a dozen miles away.

It was late at night, and my next hotel was maybe 30min ahead. Tired.

Motioned to stop. Because I am not white, naturally. The previous vehicle breezed through.

The #CBP gestapo pig (no other moniker) looked rough, reddish eyes, and kinda swaying. As I opened my window, he REEKED of alcohol.

As soon as he saw me, his hand went to the holster of his 9mm handgun.
