Dale Hagglund<p>So more and more I've been using the Internet Archive's Wayback machine to archive paywalled news articles (and to bypass facebooks restrictions on news links in Canada), and a couple times I've submitted a link, instead of getting an offer to archive it, I get "Wayback Machine has not archived that URL."</p><p>In this case, the link in question is <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/art/2025/01/28/smithsonian-closes-diversity-office-hiring-freeze/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">washingtonpost.com/entertainme</span><span class="invisible">nt/art/2025/01/28/smithsonian-closes-diversity-office-hiring-freeze/</span></a></p><p>I don't recall for sure, but I thought this used to work for most locations.
