@rudyvanbelkom Ik vind dat om veel redenen een onbenullig idee, als ik er 3 mag noemen:
1) Het is onduidelijk wat de definitie van #Sociale #Media dan is. Email-threads met meer dan 3 geadresseerden ook maar verbieden?
2) Het is onduidelijk waarom het verbod alleen voor kinderen zou gelden. Ik zie genoeg #reals-#verslaafde ouders boven kinderwagens hangen.
3) Het echte probleem, de ziekmakende #incentives (waar jij een mooie real over maakte), wordt hiermee niet aangepakt.

Framing the discussion as "Calling them out" is falling to the same delusional PR game narrative trap as companies use to escape regulation.

You need regulation because companies are fundamentally amoral, neither good nor bad. They don't operate in moral dimension.

- Neoliberals were right about the nature companies.
- Companies have no moral character.
- It's all about #incentives.
- Thus we need regulation to change their incentives so that the outcome is #prosocial.

@erc there’s still time to improve imho, but a strong focus on foundations is mandatory. After research of the 80s and during first decade of 2000, we are the third generation, we need to build a stronger , characterized by better : to create a market inducing balanced relationship with power centers, avoiding both underground mawkishness and easy money by the incumbents. And it’s not only matter of (every words I have just written don’t solely apply to cryptocurrencies context) but about the kind of freedom and democracy we want for the future. We need to stop developing applications, but to escalate our esteem for founders to evolve and make something even more disruptive.
