Peter Drake<p>I still want to know why Portland, OR has NETs instead of CERTs. I know it's because the Portland Police have a SERT (Special Emergency Response Team) instead of a SWAT, but why is that? Was there some scandal that caused the SWAT to be renamed? Or is Urban Dictionary's story correct?</p><p><a href="https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=SERT" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">urbandictionary.com/define.php</span><span class="invisible">?term=SERT</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/net" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>net</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/cert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cert</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/sert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sert</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/swat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>swat</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/CitationNeeded" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CitationNeeded</span></a></p>
