My "hot take":
1. Ransomware is a big problem that really consists of many smaller problems, that if address, could solve the solution. If we treat ransomware like "low-hanging" fruit and cut off the adversaries money source, this SHOULD go away. Granted, they will most likely adapt and figure something else out, but this would be a start.

2. In 2022 the cybersecurity industry was worth over $202 BILLION dollars and 70% of orgs that encountered ransomware attacks had less than 500 employees (i.e. not Fortune 500 companies). I understand that we live in a business world, but if we are to take this seriously and try to SOLVE the problem of ransomware, we could take an easy step by sharing the love, tech, and training at an affordable rate for these small to medium businesses, once again, aiming to cut off the money flow.
