Trash panda update: they're not gone but seem to be starting to learn we don't like them. The super soaker is the weapon of choice - they hate it but it doesn't do any permanent damage.
I had one pop out in broad daylight earlier and pummeled it with the super soaker until it climbed up a tree out of range.
Another one showed up after dark and froze when I walked out the back door, maybe it thought I couldn't see it?
It thought wrong.
EDIT: The one in the video might have been a possum, looking back at the recording. We do have one in the area that I try not to bother unnecessarily, but in dim lighting they're hard to tell apart from trash pandas (especially on thermal, in NV it's a lot easier to distinguish them).
One of the reasons I've been avoiding using anything with more punch than a squirt gun.
This was still what folks call "transitional lighting", late twilight conditions with the sky light enough I didn't want to break out the PVS14 yet, but dark enough seeing critters was tricky.
I'm loving the new dual bridge mount. It took a while to get dialed in, but I can flip down the 14 over my left eye or the FLIR over the right as I see fit. Still a bit front heavy, I have a rear weight pouch but the two weights I have installed aren't sufficient to balance it perfectly.
Eventually I'll rig up something to put the '14 recorder on the new setup but for now I can still record with the FLIR if I want to take video of something.

This is awesome! Do you have pics of the setup?
