Got stopped at the hardware store for my #FreeBSD tshirt and ended up spending 5 minutes talking kernel history with a Ford employee who was trying to figure out QNX.

weirdly I ended up talking to two QNX users (professionally) today alone

I just learned this minute that Darl McBride died from ALS complications last year. Huh
