#Finland published its new #CyberSecurity Strategy 2025-2035. The nuggets are: they want to strengthen societies media literacy and cyber hygiene, become self-sufficient in quantum cryptography by 2030, hold national cyber-security exercises, develop a national attribution process, review its position how international law applies to the cyber domain (influence campaigns in peace time) and prepare an #activecyberdefence capability and a military #cyberdefence doctrine as part of countermeasures. https://julkaisut.valtioneuvosto.fi/bitstream/handle/10024/165893/VNK_2024_13.pdf
@percepticon Why would they want to do "self-suficient" in quantum cryptography? Not that it's a relevant thing now.
@LukaszOlejnik Not sure. They diagnose that they have "fallen behind" in crypto. And there is a lot of talk on tapping into EU and NATO funds. Maybe that is part of the reason?
