Once I'm president, I will punish groups A, B, C, D and E! I promise you this! They will suffer!
Group A: Yeah! (Although I don't think he'll really punish group A)
Group B: Hells yeah! Make them pay! (But he won't harm group B? We're his base)
Group C: Punish them! Show no mercy! (Except for C)
@mekkaokereke I'm still baffled when in 2003 we got a right-wing (well, USA democrat) minister voted in Switzerland. (sidenote: our president changes every year and is chosen from 7 ministers, so they're the most important political people here). I (a Swiss citizen) was all upset and tried to share with a friend from Romania:
I: this is a catastrophy, I'm so sorry, this guy shouldn't be minister in Switzerland!
he: no, Linus. You're too nice. You know, strangers are destroying Switzerland.
I: ???
he: yes, you don't see it. But strangers are bad for you!
I: but, but. You're doing a PhD, you're a great guy, I don't want you to be kicked out of CH!
he: don't worry. I'll go back to my country and come to Switzerland as a tourist.
Luckily it didn't come to this. And I'm glad that this friend is still in Switzerland :)
So in this case, it was:
Group A: Yeah! Right! Kick us out! We're bad!
I still can't understand that. But I heard more than once non-Swiss people in Switzerland complaining about other non-Swiss people.
