I've definitely grossed out many white friends when eating pigs feet, intestines, pig's ears, chicken feet & other animal parts that they find totally disgusting. What we find more disgusting is killing any animal for food/human beneficial uses & not using as many parts of that animal as possible. We don't believe in taking any animal lives for food & then just wasting anything that can actually be used to eat or to make things out of. We use almost everything! One of my Indigenous Aunties harvests fish skins to make clothes, bags & other useful items that she sells at public markets in nearby towns.

The newest target for the anti-woke brigade: Cracker Barrel. The U.S. restaurant chain has redesigned its logo, simplifying it and removing the image of the man sitting next to a wooden barrel. Donald Trump Jr. implied on X that the changes might be motivated by DEI efforts. "Cracker Barrel has fallen," declared the far-right account @endwokeness. Find @huffingtonpost's summary of the social media furor at the first link. At the second, @CBSNews reports that the brand has lost almost $100 million in market value since the announcement was made.
