One week until #orchi . And bottom #dysphoria is re-emerging like a regrown Hydra head. It feels like it's back with a vengeance (for now)...and I HATE it.
Fortunately, I also feel as though it'll be a gigantic relief once I wake up from the IV and see that the awkward bulge-causers are no longer there.
I'm at the point where I feel as though I should get the ball rolling [no pun intended] on #vaginoplasty while I still can.
I'm also glad I banked sperm before starting #HRT. I am less on-the-fence on at least one bio-kid (provided I'm with a long-term stable partner who feels the same), so I'm glad I didn't slam the door shut. I'd probably prefer carrying a child myself, but I've begrudgingly accepted that isn't in the cards for any #transwoman alive today. So I made do with what I could.
But I'll be out of work for 3 weeks following surgery. And I've offered any #trans friends locally to visit me at my house to check up on me while I'm recovering.
Got some queer pride patches from @avifbroderie on Etsy. Got the trans, lesbian, and rainbow flag patches to add to my vest. I was very happy with my purchase 
I've decided to start this book, after watching the recent excellent video on the #StarWars Series #Andor by #transwoman youtuber Jessie Gender (www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjMsPsaVyr8), which cites this study multiple times. I also feel that this could be an interesting tengential approach to the issue of #autoritarism and #fascism, as it appears that George Lucas' political messages (because, yes, Star Wars has always been political and well, woke) is based more on a popular idea of what #dictatorship and #imperialism are based more than on pure historical and political science theory. This is like looking at something from the embossed traces it left on the ground. It might also help me choose my next readings on these topics, while making for a really agreable reading, as I'm now quite exhausted and not in the state to digest more complexe analysis.

Heading to two local #pride events this week. And will meet up with #queer friends there.
If I get an #ICE raid happening in my city (not likely as its a small town, but you never know), I know a local group that'd do their damnedest to hold them back. Only thing stopping me is if they invade my town while I'm recovering from my orchi. Can't do much help while I'm healing myself, right?

In the last ep of S2 they began focusing their heavy-handed OTT mockery on inclusivity, so ofc they decided to use trans peeps for target practice [specifically transvestites vs transsexuals, grrrrrrrrrr]. In that prior ep they were still sufficiently vague as to be able to claim plausible deniability, so i persisted, albeit with dark foreboding. However in S3 E1 they dropped any pretence of subtlety & just went for it, via a big boofy supposed crossdresser, with that as The Joke.
Ugh. 
Any show, author, organisation et al that chooses to use trans peeps as a comedic &/or criminal device, makes an enemy of me evermore.
